5 Fun Things to Include When Packing for a Trip With Friends
Imagine getting ready to go on a trip with your closest friends. Aside from the usual items such as clothing and toiletries, what will you pack to ensure you all have a great time? Be sure to bring at least one of the following items with you!
1. Baseball or Frisbee
No matter where you’re going, there will always be opportunities to stretch your legs. When these occur, you can pull out your Frisbee or baseball and have fun playing catch. Getting physically active will also encourage conversation, allowing you and your friends to get to know each other even better.
2. Deck of Cards
Having your flight delayed is a major inconvenience. Be sure to bring something with you to pass the time. Perhaps the easiest item to get is a deck of cards. This is beneficial because you can play cards with any number of people, including just one. Another perk is that a deck of cards can keep your hands and mind busy without taking up much space in your luggage.
3. Cigars
Do you know what will help set your trip apart? Quality cigars! We don’t mean the ones you smoke daily, either. Instead, get a particular style or flavor that everyone can enjoy. You can turn lighting up a cigar into a way to celebrate something you’ve all accomplished. For example, let’s say you’re on a hiking trip and reached the highest point. That would be a fantastic reason to sit together and enjoy a good cigar.
4. Fun Snack Food
When we say snack food, you probably instantly envision the basics, including chips and candy bars. But what if you were to pack unusual snacks instead? This is your excuse to go into your local store and purchase whatever wild candy speaks to you! Or, if you prefer beef jerky, buy some flavors you’ve never tasted before. Just pack extras because your travel mates will want to join in.
5. Bubble Maker
You’re going on a trip with your friends, so there won’t be any kids there, right? Well, that permits you to be childlike again! Bubble makers are usually something a child would use on a road trip, but now it’s your turn. All you have to do is start it up and leave a trail of bubbles behind you. For instance, you can sit beside an open window and blow bubbles outside with a bubble maker. This is a fun way for you and your friends to commemorate your zany adventures!
As you can see, there are several unique items you can bring. A few other examples include a card game specifically designed to start a conversation, a handheld gaming device, an adult coloring book, and a playlist featuring music for everyone. If you keep everyone’s preferences in mind, it should be easy to pack an extra item or two to keep you entertained!
